Description
New Organization Welcome Meetings serve to inform organizations that are new or formerly inactive on the steps of the registration process and are a requirement for registration. While only one organization member (does not have to be in a leadership position) is required to attend, we recommend that more come.
If you have already attended a New Organization Welcome Meeting for your organization in the Fall 2024 semester, you will not have to attend another meeting for your organization. If you attended any New Organization Welcome meeting prior to Fall 2024, you will need to attend a meeting this semester. If you are attempting to register multiple new organizations, you only need to attend one meeting.
At the New Organization Welcome Meeting, students will meet with SORC staff, hear about the benefits of becoming a registered student organization, learn more about resources to support your organization, and ask questions about the next steps in the registration process.
Most importantly, there will be time to work with SORC staff members to submit your registration or help with the forms themselves.
